Cutest Card in a Box Ever!

We had our team event last Saturday.  It was a great day spent with people who love craft as much as I do, and in particular Stampin Up!

One of the make and takes was this cute little Card in a Box project.
The top picture was the one we were taught using Sale a Bration Products.
The bottom pic was the one I created today for a dear friend whose daughter had a baby recently.  She usually gets to see all my creations…but I had kept this one hidden until I gave it to her today…
I definitely feel another class coming on!  I think it will be great for my April 3D class, don’t you!

Spiral Flower Die Watering Can

Oops….I didn’t realise it’s been a week since I have been on here! Gee time flies when you are having fun!  Life can be soooo very busy, so for me, craft is my sanity break!
So, another use for the spiral flower die in the new Occasions Catalogue on Page 32.
I initially wanted to use the flowers in a tea cup – perfect for Mother’s Day…then I remembered I had a template for a watering can….PERFECT!
I used the new DSP out of the Sale a bration Catalogue called Sweet Sorbet, that you can choose for FREE with an order over $90 (not including P & H).
Now I love this DSP, but I can’t lie…I really wasn’t sure what to do with the black pages! I have used it for a couple of things now, and must say I quite like it…but I thought….hmmmm, how would that look as a flower. I’m pretty impressed with the result, let me know what you think.
The template for the watering can was found at splitcoaststampers…an amazing crafty bunch!

Spiral Flower Die

I love the Spiral flower Die that was released in the mini catalogue last month. I new as soon as I saw it that I HAD to have it.

I have been creating a few projects with it in the lead up to my team day today, so now I can reveal them to you all.
I will start with this gorgeous shoe that I have made that I found here. There is a downloadable template so you are able to make your own :-).  It could be filled with a little bag of chocolates (as I have done in the past), or you could even use it to hold lipstick or nail polish or anything else you could think of!
This one was created with the in colour – coastal cabana and a piece of DSP!
Let me know what you think!

Another Card in a box

Happy Australia Day everyone!

Just thought I would pop past and show you my effort for my latest card in a box project. I adore the dinoroar stamp set, but as it’s retired I am having to borrow this one ๐Ÿ™
Hope you like it!

Easter with A Good Egg

No Way! You are seriously not doing EASTER already!  Well…yes I am…I did….BUT it’s only JANUARY i hear you scream…..I know, I know, but i was having sooooo much fun…and I saw Hot Cross Buns in the shops! That counts, right???? Lol.

In seriousness though, I have a market to prepare for and I saw these adorable baskets on Pinterest…but no tutorial ๐Ÿ™  Well that set the challenge for me…I had to have one, and I had to nut out how to do it.  So I sat and played, and Viola….an Easter Basket was born ๐Ÿ™‚

Aren’t they gorgeous?  And the new Watercolour DSP from the new mini catalogue being released on the 28th of this month, had just thre right flair for the project!  Very ‘Eastery’.  It reminded me of drawing and decorating eater eggs when I was a kid.

And I absolutely adore this stamp set….I know it’s retired, but sometimes an oldie is a goodie!  This card I totally CASEd from a google image, but it was just sooooo cute…in a grown up way, with grown up colours I had to reproduce it.  I believe it was from Inking Idaho in the USA.  She always does a fabulous job!

And last but not least, were these 4″ x 4″ cards.  But then I didn’t have an envelope the correct size…so out come my Envelope Punch Board and I whipped up a matching envelope, complete with Easter Egg stamp in matching ink. The colours used here are Calypso Coral, Island Indigo (two of my most favorite colours ever) and Wisteria Wonder.๏ปฟ

So what do you think? Was I a little enthusiastic in beginning Easter this early? Lol.

If you are interested in learning how to make some of this stuff, or would love to give it a go…send me an email using the little green envelope at the top left hand corner of the blog home page, and while you’re there you can sign up to follow every post I make and for my newsletter outlining classes and promotions and tips and tricks…what are you waiting for?????

Zoo Babies Fun

I had a bit of fun creating some cards using the Zoo Babies stamp set last night. I totally cased the card from Pinterest, but when you are preparing for a market, why reinvent the wheel! Lol

Then I thought about how the animals match my Two by Two stamp and thought I would give a card in a box a try, and the new DSP from the occasions catalogue looked exactly like water for the boat. PERFECT!

Keep Crafting! It’s good for the soul!

New Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek!

I am trying as hard as I can to get some quality time in my craft room, but alas, it just doesn’t seem to be happening ๐Ÿ™

However I did find time to create this gorgeous card using some new papers from Saleabration and a stamp set from the New Occasions Catalogue that begins at the end of this month.
I love the easy to do water colour effect and the tags were made using my amazing envelope punch board!

Hope you like it!
