Christmas Curvy Keepsake Boxes

Aren’t these all the rage right now – all over Pinterst so I had to have a go a creating them.

I adore the curvy keepsake die. It’s a gorgeous box that can hold that sweet little something for someone special!
We will be making these at my Christmas Bonanza Day on Nov the 8th đŸ™‚

Stampin Up Concertina Tag Card – Kinda Eclectic!

Now this card is just gorgeous! My Upline showed me this card and I knew that I HAD to recreate it. How could you not! I needed a special card for my Nan’s 91st so this was it.

The colours used are Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss. That DSP is from our beautiful moonlight paper stack – they are always great value!
I would love to hear what you think, so please feel free to leave a comment below đŸ™‚

Wonderous Wreath

I had such a lovely play with the Wonderous Wreath stamp set and framelits last night. I love this set and plan to play with it a lot more!

Not just for Christmas either, it looks lovely as a flower garland to!

I have been having trouble with my mojo lately – probably something to do with constant interruptions from my 4 cherubs home on school holidays – so I got my inspiration from Pinterest for these gorgeous cards!

I loved the combination of Real Red and Wild Wasabi to.
One of these cards will be featured in the upcoming Christmas stamp a stack class đŸ™‚

Star Framelits Christmas Tree

I have been having a bit of fun playing with our star Framelits that I purchased in our August Special! I absolutely LOVE these Framelits.

By now you have probably realised that I enjoy 3D projects. I had the idea for this tree from a shortbread Christmas tree I make at…well – Christmas.  That top star looks bigger than the rest – but I assure you, it’s just the angle of the pic.
All of the sides were 1″ thick without the tabs.
I still think it needs a little decorating with perhaps some gold or silver ribbon – so I will continue to have a play.
The paper is available in our new Christmas Catalogue. It’s gorgeous and THICK.
If you’re interested in giving this a go – you can find a tutorial on YouTube from Stampin Up. Make sure you post some pics back here of your creations đŸ™‚

Hair Gel Technique for Father’s Day

So with Father’s Day around the corner, I’ve been making quite a few Father’s Day Cards.  I had a couple of requests for this particular card using the Hair Gel Technique. It’s a great fun technique to use and looks amazing with our ‘By the Tide’ stamp set.

The colours I have used are Night of Navy, Cajun Craze and Old Olive, with soft suede for the anchor tag.  I found this technique on Brandy’s You Tube channel – here, and cased her lobster card. But with such a fun technique I had to try it some more…oh, and the card smells great too! Lol.
I could also imagine it used with ‘The Open Sea’ and ‘Sea Street’ stamp sets.
What do you think?

Well tonight I FINALLY got around to finishing my creation, after quite a bit of colouring and cutting of little pieces and purchasing some fresh silicone!
It’s hard to get a really good pic that highlights how good it looks framed, but hopefully you get the idea đŸ™‚

Eureka Stampers Blog Hop

Welcome to our Awesome Team ‘Eureka Stampers’ Blog Hop! I hope you have enjoyed the items show cased so far and you have got some fantastic inspiration from everybody’s projects!

If you began from the start then you should have arrived from Jessica Williams fabulous blog ‘The Paper Caper’.

Well, with all of our new amazing products we have in our new catalogue, let me tell you, it was so hard to decide what to showcase on this hop! There are just soooooo many choices! But, I had to choose – so here goes –

One of my absolute must have’s in this catalogue is the ‘Something for Baby’ bundle. All those cute baby stamps with matching Framelits…what’s not to like! It makes it so easy to make cards and gift tags for someone’s special arrival, but I wanted to show you something different.

This is a ‘Block Card’ that are currently very popular and this one which I saw on Pinterest I just had to CASE it!  I changed the measurements so it’s smaller and folds flat into a regular sized envelope (I find that so much easier!) You can find the original here.

My other project I thought may help you get the most use out of the new Project Life stamp sets –
‘Point & Click’ and ‘Remember This’. I am loving the photopolymer range! I have tried lots of other photopolymer stamps and have never been truly satisfied with the quality of the image you get . .. but as usual Stampin’ Up! have done their research and have found a fantastic polymer product!
So here is my take on this handy little journal / mini album that you could put photos in or extra journaling! It could be given as a gift or even slipped into a PL project pocket.

Thanks for joining me.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of these products or attending classes, then feel free to contact me using the tab at the top of the page đŸ™‚

Happy New Year!

What? happy New Year?

Well it is in the Stampin’ Up! Community! July 1st saw the release of the new annual catalogue, as well as some gorgeous new in colours!
You can check out the catalogue in the right hand side bar. It’s jam packed with new goodies – my wish list is already HUGE!
But I have had some fun with it already! I had my launch night on June 30th that was loads of fun! We had a lolly bar where everyone could make some cute little lolly cups and take them home in the premade trays.
Blendabilities were available for a play, and all could check out some of the new Project Life kits and accessories that are available now! I’m turning into a BIG PL fan. The pages come together so very quickly!
We played with our new in colours and created a coule of simple projects which I will post later.
The new in colours are Tangelo Twist, Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss. All very lovely, but so far my favorites are Lost Lagoon and Blackberry bliss!
Everyone who attended received a new catalogue, some new goodies to play with, an in colour chart and a wish list book that I made for each guest.
I hope you have fun perusing the new catalogue and your creativity gets a good boost!
You also need to check back on the 19th of July for our Eureka Team Blog Hop. It will be loads of fun where you will be able to see lots of creations with current products to help give you an extra creative boost.
Enjoy!

Paper Cake Box

I am so thoroughly pleased with myself. I have finally managed to complete my Cake Boxes.

I do have a you tube clip on how to make these here, but you will need a Petal Cone Die for my version.
This was designed so I can use it in workshops for ‘Book to Look’. The idea being, I have a prize or reward inside and if you book a workshop or class, you can open a slice of cake and see what it is.
It looks so good…I just wish I could eat it!
