Butterfly Basics

Wow, it’s been a long time between posts!

Christmas has been SUPER busy with lots of creating of the baking kind being done.
The kids always love making a ginger bread house and then smashing it on Christmas Day.
I did manage to get a little creating done using one of our new upcoming products ‘Butterfly Basics’. It was one of those sets that I went Ooohhhhh, aaahhhhhhh over and knew I had to get it first! Love the perks of being a demo!!
So here’s what I created with it. It’s a bit hard to see, but those petals have been coloured with our watercolour markers in a couple of shades – crisp cantaloupe and calypso coral.

Remember – only a few more days to purchase from the holiday catalogue, and then all of the fun begins with our new Occasions Catalogue and Saleabration!

December Daily Album Cover

I have finally finished my DD Album Cover – here is the big reveal! Lol.

I know its not very traditional for an ‘Australian’ Album – but I have ALWAYS wanted a white Christmas ๐Ÿ˜‰ Maybe I will try ‘traditional’ next year. I saw a card on Pinterest that looked gorgeous with the trees from the ‘White Christmas’ stamp set – so I Cased it.  I was however, very nervous about stamping directly onto the album in case I mucked it up!

The December embellishment is not Stampin’ Up!s, but I truly couldn’t resist it. And once I had embossed it in our gold powder – it was perfect!

Overall, I’m very happy with the result – now to fill up more pages!

December Daily 3 and 4

So my December Daily journey continues and I’m actually finding it really fun having pics to remember events every day. Im beginning to understand why lots of people PL everyday!

My eldest however….not so thrilled about the pics I have been making him pose for!

My new Picturemate Printer (it’s supposed to be for Christmas so shhhhhhh!) is helping me keep up and get my journaling done. Too easy!

My front cover is almost finished, and I will upload it once its complete.  Its not very traditional for an Australian Christmas – but I’m very happy with how it is coming together.

Are you doing a December Daily?

December Daily Begins

I have loved doing Project Life since I was first introduced to it earlier this year. It has made my scrapbooking sooooo much easier!

So this year – I have taken the leap – and am doing a December Daily!
You must have heard all the hype so far! And you can choose to do it anyway you like!

I am planning on doing a mini album and a page a day…I’ve looked to Pinterest and Facebook for ideas and inspiration on what to include.  I can think of a few ‘events’ that will make this easy…other days….ummmmmmm ๐Ÿ˜‰

So, I haven’t quite finished the album cover – you will need to wait just a little longer…..but here are my first two pages:

Gold Wedding Card from Big News

I had a request recently to create a wedding card.

I really love the ‘Happily Ever After’ stamp from the Big News stamp set – so my challenge was to use it for this wedding card.
I am really pleased with how it turned out and I am LOVING all that GOLD! Our gold embossing powder is so fine and is a gorgeous gold!

Cute little Christmas Crackers

I had just a bit of fun today making these cute Christmas Crackers! Just big enough to fit a ‘little something’ in them.

Most of these are last years Christmas Stack Paper, but they are made with the current Envelope Punch Board.  You will find plenty of tutorials for these on you tube and pinterest if you are interested in creating some ๐Ÿ™‚ …. Christmas is close!!

Beautiful Bloom Birthday Card

Thought I would quickly drop by and show you how I had a bit of fun tonight whipping up this gorgeous card with my new Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities on the Blended Bloom Stamp.

I’m really pleased with how it turned out. The background is the lovely blackberry bliss Cardstock and I Love Lace stamp! I love the look of the Lace and highly recommend stamping it in Baked Brown Sugar for a wonderful heritage appearance.
It’s off to its new home tomorrow – What do you think?

Something for Baby – Card in a box

Well, I still love creating these cards in a box, even after all this time!

This one is something I whipped up ( yeah right!) for a custom order.
I love these ease of having matching Framelits for this set, so it really does make it loads easier to make a quick card. I think this set is SUPER CUTE!
I would love for you to leave a comment and show me some of your own creations with this set to.
