From the moment I saw this Hostess set and the example in the Catalogue (page 180 -181) I knew that I HAD to have it! (i know – there is soon much I have to have!!! Lol).

Ok…I think I have ALL of the butterflies available in the catalogue now!
I have no idea what it is – but I must have a thing for butterflies, because every time I see them, I just HAVE to have them!
The best part about our new Watercolour Wings stamp set is the available colour combinations. You can make any butterfly imaginable!
I have found that stamping darker colours on the wing edges makes for a better bolder butterfly, as well as using the stamping off technique for the main body of the butterfly.
I teamed this one with our brilliant new 6″ x 6″ Brick Wall embossing folder for the background. This also looks great when you highlight the ‘mortar’ in the bricks.
A few vines and roses from the Floral Wings Stamp set (yes, it has another butterfly – told you I was a sucker) and some Gold thread and I was finally happy with the look.
Have a play and see what you can come up with!
This card was very popular last night at class. Everybody loved it, which is funny, because I wasn’t so sure :-/
I had quite a bit of fun creating these funky cards using our Snapshot and Hi There stamp sets, as well as the On Film Framelits.
Hi all,
Here is a card I that we have been making at classes this week.
I have been seeing this technique around A LOT lately and have been dying to try it.
I have entered this card into the Casing the Catty (CTC) Challenge. It’s my first challenge! You can find out more about CTC Here
Hi all,
Wow, it’s been a long time between posts!
