Card in a Box – Exploding Box

Wow, two posts in two days! I’m doing well!

And that’s because I have another gorgeous creation I wanted to share with you all.
This is a special ‘card’, made for a special person, for her Big Birthday!
This version is referred to as an ‘Exploding Card’. They are fantastic for that ‘extra’ special occasion, and I can’t wait to play a little more with different versions of these!
All wrapped up in a gorgeous little present box. I added my writing to the underside of the lid. Made with Stampin’ Up!s beautiful eastern elegance DSP (which is retiring at the end of June), and using a few other goodies – spiral flower die and beautiful wings embosslits folder. My scan n cut machine cut the 60 out of our glitter paper! All in all I think it’s pretty special!
What do you think?

Custom Orders for Cards in a Box

I have been VERY busy and nearing completion of a custom order for some gorgeous card in a box invitations for a first birthday. 40 boxes equals a LOT of cutting, scoring and folding and lots of double sided tape!!! Lol.

But I am nearly there, just a few more final touches … Here’s a sneak peak for you all.

If you are ever interested in a custom order, whether it’s for one, a few or loads, then just contact me using the tab at the top of the home page, and I will be in touch to discuss your requirements further ๐Ÿ™‚

Card in a box…again!

I must say that I absolutely love the card in a box craze! I am having so much fun making different versions and different colours of the same version.

I made this one for a friends birthday. We always go out for coffee, so I thought, why not at the coffee to the card. I wouldn’t have been able to post it, so it was a good thing I was handing it to her!

Made with a retired stamp set and papers, but in our beautiful in colours!

Cutest Card in a Box Ever!

We had our team event last Saturday.  It was a great day spent with people who love craft as much as I do, and in particular Stampin Up!

One of the make and takes was this cute little Card in a Box project.
The top picture was the one we were taught using Sale a Bration Products.
The bottom pic was the one I created today for a dear friend whose daughter had a baby recently.  She usually gets to see all my creations…but I had kept this one hidden until I gave it to her today…
I definitely feel another class coming on!  I think it will be great for my April 3D class, don’t you!

Another Card in a box

Happy Australia Day everyone!

Just thought I would pop past and show you my effort for my latest card in a box project. I adore the dinoroar stamp set, but as it’s retired I am having to borrow this one ๐Ÿ™
Hope you like it!

Zoo Babies Fun

I had a bit of fun creating some cards using the Zoo Babies stamp set last night. I totally cased the card from Pinterest, but when you are preparing for a market, why reinvent the wheel! Lol

Then I thought about how the animals match my Two by Two stamp and thought I would give a card in a box a try, and the new DSP from the occasions catalogue looked exactly like water for the boat. PERFECT!

Keep Crafting! It’s good for the soul!

Card in a Box

Have you ever wanted a card that really POPS…then this card is for you. It is sooo much fun to make and only limited to the scenes in your imagination. And it still folds down flat and posts in a regular sized envelope. How great is that!

I made the flower one for my first one using Everything Eleanor and Stippled Blossoms.  The other is going to be for my Grandad’s ninety birthday this month! I had to use my cricut machine to cut the stars, but the paper are from the DSP in the new Occasions Catalogue released at the end of this month!  I found it great for this male version of the card, but it also has more feminine patterns and florals too.

I found the tutorial at Stamping T. She has a great tutorial video on how to create these card bases which you can find here.

So get to making one today and wow your friends.
