Hi everyone and welcome to Colour INKspiration 17!
Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month we get to play along to a gorgeous colour combination inspired from Pinterest Images. This week we have such a bright and fun colour palette to work with!
The colours this week are Pool Party; Lemon Lime Twist; Tempting Turquoise and Flirty Flamingo! They scream spring and summer to me, unfortunately in Melbourne there is very little sign of sun at all!
I was grateful for the bright cheery colours though this week. It’s my niece’s birthday this week and I needed to make her a birthday card, so I combined this colour Inspiration with a tutorial from the amazing Bronwyn Eastley at addINKtive Designs to create my project.
I used Bronwyn’s This Little Piggy Slider Card tutorial for the base of my project and switched out the colours to suit this challenge, as well as using my gorgeous Magical Mermaid Stamp.
This card design is extra fun because it’s interactive. You can actually move the mermaid along the card, so a bit of extra fun for my niece! This card certainly has the ‘wow’ factor with all the attention to detail. A sea theme is fun with this colour palette.

A-mazing!! Absolutley adore this fun, bright and interactive card, Mel. Such an awesome ocean theme, love the swimming mermaid- she is coloured beautifully. The sequins and starfish are such sweet additions – a brilliant slider card, love it!
