Wow! I was so excited to be asked to be a Guest Designer for CASEing the catty blog hop!
Every Sunday night the crew shares lots of great ideas from the current catty! This week we are CASEing creations from the Birthday section of the catalogue. How lucky for me because I had some birthdays coming right up that I needed to create for!
One of those cards needed to be for my very own young man. He’s a bit of a card creator himself and does an amazing job, so it would need to impress him! And a 10 year birthday is a very special event! Double figures no less!!!!
So I had a poke through the catalogue and found the pattern on this card on page 19 really caught my eye.
I love the Sweet Stack stamp set, but I had never thought of using the pattern as a background this way. So I set about playing and came up with this…
Wouldn’t you know – I had also never noticed that our Sprinkles Punch matches the pattern perfectly, so I added some of the shapes to the background of the card to. I also didn’t want those numbers that I cut to go to waste, and seeing as we have another tenth birthday to go to in a couple of weeks, I created another one too. This time from page 13 of the catty.
I kept with the same colour scheme for this card to.
I hope you like them! Thanks for having me along!
Don’t forget to hop around the rest of the crew to see what lovely inspiration they have for you – just follow the link below to Elizabeth’s blog – Im sure she has some fantastic ideas for you!
Hi everyone. Here is one more super adorable, cute, gorgeous….you get the idea….foxy card for you to enjoy. Seriously, this set is super versatile and a must have!
I have deliberately left a sentiment off this one as it can be added to suit the occasion! I’m thinking baby or birthday or thank you! I love that you can stamp the images, or punch the images, or do a combination of both!
Have I convinced you that you NEED this suite yet???? You seriously do! And those cute little flags – cut from the coordinating paper stack!!!!
What are you waiting for???? Go Have fun creating with it!
I’m back again with some more Foxy Friends Fun!!! This time, I am getting ready for Christmas Early and just having a play creating! Nooooo, it’s never to early for Christmas!
Did you know that our foxy friend bundle can also create a little reindeer. What’s not to love with this bundle!!! So at class last week, we set about creating a little bit of Christmas Cheer by creating this card…
I just HAD to make him into Rudolph! Easily done by punching out a little nose with Calypso Coral card stock and popping it in place after you have stamped a little face!
Quick, simple and cute as!
What do you think????
A happy hello to everyone!
I wanted to pop by today and share some of the fun I have been having with our Foxy Friends Suite. The whole suite is just toooooo cute! And the animal possibilities with that punch!!! I mean WOW!!! Have you seen what others are creating!
Well I have seen a LOT of double Z fold cards lately. So I wanted to give one a try myself. So I created two! Lol.
I left some white space on this card because I always feel that you need somewhere to write! The beauty about this one is that even when you write in the white space, you can’t see it when the card is closed. And its just too easy to create pretty backgrounds with the coordinating designer series paper stack! The next one I made, I wanted to try a couple of the other animals!
Here’s a quick view of what that other panel that you can’t see looks like on both cards…..
These are quite fun to make, and with so many possibilities, so here are my measurements for the second one so you can make your own!
