I have loved the sleigh ride edgelits since I first saw them.  They are so versatile and add depth and scenes to any card easily and quickly.

Here is one of my favourite cards I created this year using the edgelits. It’s simple, but pops off the page.  I cannot remember where I saw someone layer back behind the sleigh, but it makes such a difference to the depth of white on white.  Teamed with silver glimmer paper and silver glitter – it turned out just gorgeous.  We made these quite a while ago in a special christmas class and the ladies loved them, albeit having a little trouble removing the paper from the edgelits.

My tip – place baking paper between the cardstock and the edgeless to help it slip out more easily.  And even though they look delicate – you can still give them a strong pull to remove them from the edgelit without damaging them.

I even made a smaller version for a money card – perfect for Christmas!
