I have been trying to choose my favourite item from the 2015 Holiday Catalogue.  I have to tell you, I found it pretty tricky to select a favourite!  There are so many to choose from!  But I had to narrow it down and I have to say – even though this cards took me AGES, and yes by that I mean HOURS, it is still by far one of my most favourite cards I have ever created.  So I thought it was most appropriate choice!

Embellished Ornament, Delicate Ornament Thinlit, Stained Glass Ornament, Christmas Card, My paper Oasis, Stampin Up, Foil Paper

I love our red foil paper and our cording trim in Gold or Silver – I can’t get enough of it! But most of all I love our delicate ornament thinlets dies.

I made this ornament by cutting out the same ornament in black card stock, and then in our gold, red and silver foil sheets.  I popped out all the black pieces and adhered the bauble to a piece of white card stock.  I then painstakingly popped pieces back in from the foil sheets like a jigsaw puzzle.  Trust me – this is the ONLY time you don’t want all those little pieces to pop out of the piece you just cut! I adhered them with our new fine tip glue pen – a definite must have for this kind of project and another favourite of mine.

It has then been cut out as a whole by the plain ornament die of the same shape and adhered onto a piece of window sheet.

I have to say that it is absolutely stunning to look at, and looks even more amazing with a small electric candle behind it!

I hope you have enjoyed my project and that it inspires you to get your creative thinking caps on using this bundle. I would love to see what you come up with 🙂
