And on to Man Shirt Number 2 we go! One for each dad or father in law, and just as simple as the first one!
I again used our Bohemian DSP card stock for this funky shirt and the tie. Doesn’t that paper suit a tie so well!!!! I love it!!!
I have layered the DSP on a Very Vanilla Card stock base this time. It matched the paper used for the tie much better. I did trim it down slightly, so it would still fit inside a regular envelope once the collar was folded.
I simply scored the DSP at 3/4″ from the top, and trimmed along each side of the line approximately 3/4″ – 1″ from the edge. I folded these pieces in until I met the edges in the middle.
I lined up the tie before I attached it with glue dots. Then simply placed another glue dot under each base point of the collar – before using the paper piercer to pop in a small hole and one of our 1/8″ silver brads.
There are loads of tutorials out there on Pinterest to learn to fold a paper tie – but click here to go to the YouTube video that I used.
I hope you enjoyed Card #2. I would love it if you shared your creations in the comments 🙂
Stay tuned for Card #3!
