Good Morning. I hope you are all keeping cool in this extreme heat!
Card in a Box
Have you ever wanted a card that really POPS…then this card is for you. It is sooo much fun to make and only limited to the scenes in your imagination. And it still folds down flat and posts in a regular sized envelope. How great is that!
I made the flower one for my first one using Everything Eleanor and Stippled Blossoms. The other is going to be for my Grandad’s ninety birthday this month! I had to use my cricut machine to cut the stars, but the paper are from the DSP in the new Occasions Catalogue released at the end of this month! I found it great for this male version of the card, but it also has more feminine patterns and florals too.
I found the tutorial at Stamping T. She has a great tutorial video on how to create these card bases which you can find here.
So get to making one today and wow your friends.
Butterflies in Flight Scrapbook
I have been super busy in the craft room. Here is one of my creations. I love the butterfly embosslit and the Papillion Potpourri stamp set. This layout also incorporates this years ‘In Colours’ with a dash of Island Indigo thrown in.
That cute little envelope was made using the amazing ‘Envelope Punch Board’. All it needs now is a couple of photos and a sentiment on the second page to finish it off ๐

Quick and easy gift cards
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, these quick and simple gift cards!
Here’s how to do it-
- Cut whisper white cardstock 6″ x 3″ and fold in half.
- Stamp your Christmas Sentiment.
- Using 1 3/4″ circle punch, punch a circle using coloured cardstock (I’ve used Island Indigo, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler). Adhere to card, close to base.
- Using 1 3/8″ circle punch, punch a circle from DSP (I have used the Seasons of Style Paer Stack and the Winter Frost Paper Stack). Adhere to centre of coloured cardstock circle.
- Use 1/8″ silver ribbon to make a bow and adhere to the top of the ‘bauble’.
- Your Done ๐
Christmas Cards
Woo Hoo! Finally got to make a start on my Christmas Cards, using the retired Medallion Stamp (I was sorry to see that one retired). Loving my envelope Punch Board – at the moment it means bows in any colour or pattern I desire. Absolutely love how these have turned out. Happy Crafting!
Embossing Folder Boxes
I had a lot of fun making these today to ‘pretty’ up my craft room and store my embossing folders and framelits. These are from ‘Pootles Papercraft’ and you can watch her You Tube how to video by clicking here. I made mine from smokey slate cardstock, made it a bit stronger by adding an extra piece of coastal cabana card stock, then used Eastern Elegance DSP to pretty it up, and finished it off with some ribbon that I had lying around. So have some fun and Get Crafting!
Christmas Gift Card Holders
Well its getting VERY close to Christmas so what better class to have than a gift card class. I often give gift cards to those people who are ‘difficult’ to buy for, so having a fancy way to dress them up makes a big difference… so here is just a few of the ones I have created so far –
I have cased these ideas from Pinterest…what a brilliant site! Let me know what you think ๐ I have tutorials available and will post a kit with everything you need (except stamped images) to make your own ones of these for $20 if you are interested.
Well Here Goes!
Well, here goes! I am embarking on my very FIRST blogging journey. I am excited and nervous, as I have absolutely no idea how to do this, but I am willing to give it a go ๐ So wish me luck…and I look forward to seeing where this takes me!
