Welcome to our second Colour INKspiration Challenge! We had some amazing entries to our first challenge – thank you all for playing along! It’s truly hard to choose a winner with so much talent to choose from! The top 5 for the first challenge will be listed on the Facebook Page so make sure you pop on over and take a look!
If you missed last week – here’s all the information –
The Colour INKspiration Crew consists of a team of talented Aussie and NZ Stampin’ Up! ® Demonstrators that create projects based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches.
There’s also a Facebook group for Stampin’ Up! ® enthusiasts who would like to share their paper craft projects using the colour combinations.
Here’s the deal – Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 pm (AEDT), a new colour swatch will be uploaded to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group and the Colour INKspiration Crew will get the ball rolling by providing inspiration for each challenge with a blog hop.
Members of the group have the option to join the Colour INKspiration ‘Challenge’ by uploading photos of their projects and can link back to their personal blog if they wish to.
Make sure you click on the link below and ask to join Colour INKspiration, add the group to your favourites and share it with your crafty friends so they can join in with the challenges too.
Hope to see you there!
This week we have another gorgeous colour combination. I love how images can be the inspiration for our colour choices – it inspires us to use colour combinations we may never have thought of! This weeks colours combine Wisteria Wonder, Soft Sky, Mint Macaron, Whisper White and Garden Green – and does that image remind you of anything! Just our succulent set in the Occasions Catalogue!
I don’t have the succulent set myself – but I had an upcoming class using the Jar of Love Bundle – so I thought these colours would be perfect to inspire my class project!
I used the Stamp Off method to create my flowers, giving the appearance of two different colours so they had more depth. Its such a great method to use when you have a limited supply of colours – or only have certain colours to work with – like a colour challenge! The class ladies loved it too!
Hop on over to the amazing Simone Bartrum to see what gorgeous project she has created for this challenge by clicking on the image below!
And don’t forget – you can easily play along too without a blog – just post your pic over on the Colour INKspiration Facebook Page – HERE. We are looking forward to seeing your amazing creations.
You can purchase all your supplies in my online store anytime and have it delivered directly to your door! Don’t forget to take advantage of the fabulous Saleabration rewards on offer for every $90 you spend!
