Hi everybody.
Over the weekend I created another LIVE Facebook card making video for everyone to play along with. I am hoping to make this a weekly event then post the information in the blog, so you can catch up and play along too.
This week we focused again on using up our Designer Series Paper stash. I truly love DSP, but nearly have a melt down when I need to cut it …. It’s just TTTTTOOOOOOOO PREEETTTYYYYY. So I really want to encourage you all to be brave – and go ahead and cut that DSP! Get creative! You can always by more … right! Lol.
Todays card we are using our gorgeous Festive Birthday DSP and taking advantage of one of the sheets lovely individual images and using them as embellishments.

I love how changing a card up slightly, can change the look of a card!
Designer Series Paper cards are a great way to start your card making collections. They instantly give you a background or two and some embellishments you can add to your cards, without the need for a heap of stamp sets. So simple!
Here are the measurements if you want to play along! –
Card Base
Layer One – DSP 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Layer Two – Card stock 3 1/2″ x 2 5/8″ (mine is pumpkin pie)
Layer Three – Card Stock 3 3/8″ x 2 1/2″ (mine is tempting turquoise)
Layer Four – DSP 3 1/4″ x 2 3/8″
Sentiment Layers – choose size according to your sentiments. I have used:
2 1/8″ x 1 3/4″ emerald envy card stock and a 2″ x 1 5/8″ piece of whisper white, and stamped the sentiment in emerald envy.
