Christmas Advent Tree

As soon as I saw this beautiful project by Allison Okamitsu of Nice People Stamp, I absolutely knew that I wanted to, needed to, must have a go at creating it too!

Who wouldn’t? This project is amazing! Her projects are amazing!

She was so generous to share her project details on the USA Stampin Up Page and I have seen many classes run since.  I wasn’t any different – we created this project in my last class for the year last week.

I used a paper ache round box for my base that I found at Spotlight.  It has a lid, so I can weight the base if I find it needs stabilising once filled with goodies.  The Home for Christmas DSP was PERFECT for this project.  I cut mine into 1 7/8″ squares. The numbers were taken from the Hello December 2015 Project Life Accessory Kit.

Now all thats left is to fill each box with yummy chocolate goodness and enjoy!!!!

Christmas Tags in a Box

Don’t you love giving personalised gifts? Birthdays, thank you’s, babies and of course Christmas all allow you to create some lovely personalised gifts sets and tags.

I sometimes struggle with gift tags.  I want them to look really good, but in such a little space to work with i often find it difficult to create the effect I am after.

This Christmas however, I found it reasonably simple.  Our gorgeous ornate tag topper punch and scallop tag punches made tags very simple, along with our lots of labels framelits and beautiful stamps and DSP.

Pull out your gift bag punch board and make a matching card, and you have a complete gift set! You can also use gift tags to decorate card fronts too!

Gorgeous Gold Embossed Christmas Card

I have loved playing with the Peaceful Pines stamp set this year and am excited that it is carried forward into the new occasions catalogue.

I had to design a card that I could make a lot of, without driving me insane, for all of my fabulous customers this year.  But my personal requirement was that it still had to have some pizzazz!

So a simple couple of trees stamped in Old Olive and a single gold embossed tree in the centre to stand out and add that pizzazz came to mind.  Aren’t I happy that we have framelits to match, so I didn’t have to handcuff all those trees! I am still loving our metallic gold thread – I use it on SOOOOOOO much – and have multiple rolls on the go at the same time!

Wonderland Stamp a Stack

Well Christmas is not very far away now.  I truly hope you have most of your Christmas cards done. But if not, this is a super quick card that we made at a stamp a stack class.  This card is great to get a whole heap done and sent!

Using Garden Green and Soft Sky, this is my take on the card in the 2015 Holiday Catalogue.  Instead of using our snowflake embellishments, I punched a star from gold foil sheets and used the stamping off technique for the trees, making sure to alter the height of the trees.

It’s a bit hard to tell in the photo, but i then touched the 2 way glue pen to various points on the tree and sprinkled with dazzling diamonds glitter to give the look of snow.

Simple, quick and effective!

Holly Jolly Stamp a Stack

The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on! So is the card making!

This was one we made at a recent card class for a stamp a stack.  The original design I saw was from Chaiki Haverstick – but I changed it up a bit for my own class.  Its relatively quick and simple to create, so great for a stamp a stack so you an get loads done in time for Christmas!

And I love Night of Navy teamed with silver for Christmas.

Hope you are all well and truly on your way to having your cards completed and sent now.
