I have been seeing this technique around A LOT lately and have been dying to try it.
I finally got the chance and I think it makes a fantastic background – especially for male cards to liven them up a little.
I will definately be doing a class on this, so keep an eye out in my newsletters for further information.
You can sign up for my newsletter in the left hand side bar.
The bokeh technique is a lighting effect for photographs, but it’s very easy to replicate on a card.
I have entered this card into the Casing the Catty (CTC) Challenge. It’s my first challenge! You can find out more about CTC Here
I have also used one of our Saleabration sets that you can earn for FREE with with every $90 purchase! How awesome is that!!
Happy crafting everyone 🙂
I just had to share these gorgeous cards with you, coloured using our Blendabilities.
Whilst the stamped image is not Stampin’ Up! – the rest is. And this little girl is a great way to practice your colouring skills and blending and shades of light and dark. I have had plenty of practice on our Blended Bloom stamp, but this was nice for something different.
I have tried a few techniques with blending. I feel they are different than copics in that I don’t put a layer of the lightest colour first. I start with my dark shade and blend out from there.
Don’t be discouraged if at first your colouring doesn’t seem quite right! The great thing is they look awesome with little effort – but practice, practice, practice and you get the hang of it!
And right now you can earn Blendabilites FREE with Saleabration!
Happy Colouring everyone 😉
